Monday
I got this dress on ebay a while back, but it required some major ironing so it took me a while to get round to actually wearing it (laziness in other words)
I love ebay for many reasons, but in the main because I often manage to get old items that I wanted to buy but a) couldn't afford or b) couldn't get in my size, and as I couldn't give two shits about being 'on-trend' I don't mind wearing them years later! P's, the red version of these Primark Shoes were really comfy, but for some reason these black ones were not.... same size, same style, different colour = less comfy. You can't win 'em all eh?!

Leggings 22 - Very / South
Earrings & shoes - Primark

Little bit more butch today huh?
Wet look joggers may not be to everyone's tastes, but they're basically as close as I can get to any form of leather trousers. I love the look of PU / leather trousers but my god I just cannot cope with the sweating!
I wanted a loose shirt and this fitted the bit perfectly as it's a cocoon shape.
Shirt 24 - Barbara Hulaniki for George
Joggers 20 & shoes - Primark
Wednesday
Two days of trousers?! Dunno why, just fancied it!
I've had a few pairs of leopard print trousers, but these are the best ones. I love Dorothy Perkins printed trousers!
Necklace - Primark
Top 22 - Asos Curve
Trousers 22 - Dorothy Perkins
Shoes - Crocs
I just couldn't resist going into the BHS sale to nab a bargain swimsuit and I thought I'd add in my big old coat (size 12 GAP coat I found in a charity shop ages ago) because I love it.
Fab colour!
This is the strap version of my tropical print bandeau swimsuit (also BHS) that I took on holiday. Love it!
Friday
I hadn't worn this for ages because the belt loop broke on one side and I only just got round to mending it. I like it even more than when I got it for some reason. I really love the Primark silver brogues. I want them to bring out a gold version because they're so very comfy!
Dress 24 - Project D for Simply Be
Leggings 22 - Very / South
Brogues - Primark
Fab outfits as always! I particularly love the teal swimsuit - amazing - and the peplum top and leopard print trousers. You wear it all so well! I have been after a decent peplum top for a while and last week tried some on in Forever 21+ but they were all too short in the body so looked awful. Hanna (The Wardrobe Challenge) tried one on too and it did her no favours either so I guess they're just badly proportioned. Your one from ASOS looks fab so I shall have to take a look x
ReplyDeleteI have exactly the same problem with peplums on tops and skirts, they're nearly always too high on the waist and look stupid! These asos ones are the only tops I ever found that were the right body length for me.... sadly I don't think they sell anything like them at the moment :(
