Wardrobe weekly

Monday
First day back at work. It was a bit of a shock to the system but thankfully I survived it! I wore my new Asos Curve dress which is actually really lovely.
I tried some stuff at simply be so I managed to get some pics with better lighting! I'm glad I kept this dress, it was so comfy throughout the day!

Cardi 20 / leggings 20 / necklace - Primark
Boots - Asos

Tuesday
I love this dress, and I felt like I hadn't worn it for ages - it was time!
I don't care if this isn't particularly flattering because it's just so unusual and utterly cool.
This is a dress that looks better when you can see the sleeves but it was too cold for such luxuries!

Cardi 18 - Dorothy Perkins
Leggings XL - H&M
Boots - Simply Be

Wednesday
Wednesday was the day when my whole body gave in and told me that I needed to get back to my normal routine - particularly in regards to food and drink. I felt so rough, I started on some multi vitamins and got back on the fruit, veg and off the meat and fizzy drinks. I feel like I ate nothing but pork last month and I'm already feeling better for getting my more varied diet back!
So like I said, I felt rough, and when I feel rough I can't really be arsed to think about clothes! I've been wearing this jumper loads at home so it was on my chair.... then it was on me and I was out the door without even washing my hair. Rough, like I said!
Jumper L - Primark
Jeggings 22 tall - Dorothy Perkins
Boots - Asos

Thursday
Feeling a bit more human today!
This was to hand because I wore it at the weekend, I thought I'd wear it with trousers and I said I would in the related post!
It's been a long time since I wore a tunic or dress with trousers, but I quite like this outfit.
 I was nice and comfy!
Tunic 22 - Ann Harvey
Jeans 22 tall - Dorothy Perkins
Cardi 24 - George
Boots - & earrings - Primark

Friday
Thought I might as well wear this lovely dress into work!
Dress 24 - Asos Curve
Cardi 24 - George
leggings 20 - South / very
Boots - Simply Be

Saturday
This is a dress that I look forward to wearing!
We went to Clapham for our friends birthday so effort was made outfit-wise (by me anyway!).
This is almost an all-black outfit which I don't normally do, but the colour pops from the embroidery makes it less sombre I think! I also think this dress has come round again trend-wise because there is something of the folklore style about it!
I wore the little boots I got from Yours last year, they have leopard print on the back!
Annoyingly you can't see my earrings very well, but they're some cute little girls faces that I got from Forever 21 a while back this side is a blond girl, the other sides a brunette!

Leggings XL - H&M
Boots - Yours (they have similar ones at Simply be)

Flirty 30's

Ann Harvey dress number two! Again - a much shorter version than what you'll see on the website, but this time round the item is described as a 'tunic top' so I should have suspected that it wouldn't actually be knee-length!
Sorry about the not-so-auto-focused self timer pics! So the tunic. I love this print, and the length gave me a good excuse to wear my old knee-high socks (bought years ago from Ann Summers FYI - because I know I'll be asked about them!). I may be nearly 33 years old, but that won't stop me dressing like an extra from Clueless!
The fabric is slinky and stretchy and very comfy. This is a size 22 and it's a perfect fit.
The best thing about this tunic is the little pleat at the small of the back that gives more room for a big booty - and therefore a lovely shape! I wore this to the cinema tonight and was nice and comfy.
I think I'll get lots of wear out of this - I'm certain to wear it with trousers, but as I said, I like the print so I think this will be one to tuck into skirts too! As with the dress I posted yesterday, this tunic is in the sale and it's only £10.50! This is a great dress for anyone who likes mini's or is shorter than me, and a great top for tall gals (or anyone who likes to cover their bum but still wear something shapely!). Get it here

Thanks very much to Ann Harvey for sending me these pieces to review!

Cass meets Ann Harvey

I've never tried Ann Harvey before, so when I was offered the chance to review some clothes I jumped at the chance! Ann Harvey is now being sold through Bonmarche, so it's an easy online experience. I was kindly sent two items to review, so here is the first!
I have to mention the length because it will be the most obvious difference when you look at the pictures on the website - It's really quite short. I'm not sure if the Ann Harvey model on the site is quite short (I'm a bit taller than average, but I wouldn't be described as tall!) because both items I've been sent are considerably shorter in real life than in the pictures online! This dress is basically a mini on me, but I'm cool with that! It looks more like a mini in the picture of it off the model, so maybe pay attention to those shots when ordering - tip of the day!
I don't often wear such short dresses, but this one REALLY spoke to my inner teenager - I would have KILLED for this outfit when I was younger.... a floral, fitted mini dress and knee-high boots?! It's like I'm finally allowed to dress like Blossom (If you're old like me you will know exactly what I'm talking about!).
It's obvious to me that the Ann Harvey designers want to make flattering clothes - this dress is a soft and slinky stretch fabric that had the potential to cling to every lump and bump on my body, but the dress is lined with a stretch fabric that skims all my lumps, so everything looks smooth and lovely!
I'm wearing the size 22 and it's great, I really like the fit and it's very comfy.
You just pull this dress over your head so it's so easy to wear - I felt very cute in this outfit......
..... and it rather suits a golden booth don't you think?!
I wore this outfit out on a casual date in which we went to Wahaca and drank Bloody Maria's and hibiscus cordial with lime......
And ate lots of the most delicious grub (plantain tacos TO DIE FOR!)
Happy Parsnip! The dress stretched with me and was just as comfortable when I was full of Mexican food as it was when we left the house, so that's a BIG thumbs up from me!
I'm loving this cute dress (an so is my boyfriend because it is both tight and short - two of his favourite things when it comes to my clothing!) and joy of joy, it's currently on sale... down from £40 to £12! What a ridiculous bargain! Get it here, and come back tomorrow for Ann Harvey outfit number two!
